Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm new to CS.... COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE None, as yet. But met a few good couch surfers via friends in Arequipa, Peru. Also, on my travels through South America, some amazing people were overwhelmingly generous with their hospitality (although not thru couchsurfing), and ever since I have felt the need to give something back, so as I'm gonna be resident in Korea for a while, this is the perfect opportunity.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Donnie Darko, MAtrix, 28 Days Later, Nueve Reinas, Oldboy... stuff like that. Books: anything by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Dostoevsky. Charles Bukowski. Chuck Palaniuk. Music: depending on my mood.... Jazz, latin, rock (Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Linkin Park, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains.....)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
La cordillera Blanca (Peru)... specifically the trip to lago 69. Living and working in Arequipa, Peru. The Amazon! Growing up in Sri Lanka in the 80s. Petra, Jordan. Worst thing ever.... living in Saudi. Seriously. It sucks dog's balls.
