About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To pack my bags and make a radical life change by moving to San Diego, California.
ABOUT ME
The election season has been an incredibly depressing let down for me.
One political revolution that many of us had seen as a sign of hope has been subverted by the established party members who have little interest in changing things.
The "other" political revolution has managed to give certain people the impression that a brand new type of "truth" is the answer to our all of our problems and will change things for the better.
PHILOSOPHY
Our political process has been corrupted and incorporated by wealthy benefactors. Bribery of elected politicians has been legalized and standardized.
The process of purchasing our government wholesale is nearing its completion and dramatic change is needed to save our democracy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My objective has changed somewhat in recent months. I'm no longer inspired by any presidential candidate in particular and I'm far more concerned with making immediate change in my own life.
I'll be driving out west with all that I own, giving up a decent job and a comfortable place of my own in search of new terrain.
[ To enable political activism in distant parts of the country that would otherwise be out of my reach ]
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The only time I have used Couchsurfing so far was during the Rally to Restore Sanity in Washington D.C. put on my The Daily Show and Colbert Report hosts Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert respectively.
This was a life changing event that I participated in while attending college.
Interests
Restoring the power of grass roots movements in the country through the reversal of the Citizens United and McCutcheon Supreme Court decisions.
Ending the SuperPacs, ending legalized bribery and restoring democracy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The memories of my family outings are still a source of strength to me. I remember we'd all pile into the car - I forget what kind it was - and drive and drive. I'm not sure where we'd go, but I think there were some trees there. The smell of something was strong in the air as we played whatever sport we played. I remember a bigger, older guy we called "Dad." We'd eat some stuff, or not, and then I think we went home. I guess some things never leave you.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't stand cheap people. It makes me real mad when someone says something like, "Hey, when are you going to pay me that $100 you owe me?" or "Do you have that $50 you borrowed?"
Man, quit being so cheap!
