It's unlikely I'll be hosting right now but I'm open to receiving messages and requests particularly from people who resonate with my profile and are active in social or solidarity work or activism.

- CS is built on the trust of the social network. I can't host you if you don't have at least a few Friends and References
- I'm very glad to share my place with you for a place to stay, hangout, cook, etc. I love to meet people, especially long term travellers and people who have exited 'normal life' and talk about life, the universe, and how to change the world over a cup of coffee or a beer.
- Independent guests are great for me. I prefer not to be your tour guide or cultural introduction to Athens or Greece -- I'm not from Athens and I'm not Greek so I'm not the best person to do that anyway ;)
- I can share my experience living in Exarchia and perhaps I can introduce you to local people and projects that are interesting for you, and I can help you find great places to eat and hang out that reflect the local culture.

CURRENT MISSION

I use my time to think about and try to bring into the world radically alternative social and organisational structures for supporting day to day life. Particularly focussed on organisational structures that acknowledge people as people (with needs, emotions), and realistic long term transition away from capitalism/patriarchy/destroying the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have stayed on a fair few couches and enjoyed the generosity of strangers many times, so now with an apartment in Athens I can give a little back. I do not use CS often, and prefer other less exploited and mainstream platforms. Find me on BeWelcome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my house in London with only a bag to go travelling for 2 months. Ended up being on the road for 3 years, adn moving country to live in Greece. Meeting and living with local people in upper Egypt, seeing the revolutionary protests in Cairo. Seeing the sprawl of LA. Getting to call London home for 5 years and all the great things and not so great that come with that. Starting adventures as a traveller seeing ancient temples in India. Travelled around Europe for 6 months with no plan, finding my way as I went, meeting people along the way who became life long friends, and realising that travel was much more about meeting people than visiting places.
