Hello. I am 39 years old and currently live in Portland, Oregon, USA. I enjoy learning about other cultures, conversation, writing, exploring new places, trying new food, spending time outdoors. Dining out and tasting different types of wine and beer is one of my favorite winter hobbies. Meeting people and sharing experiences is really rewarding to me. I like to talk and love to listen. My educational background and profession is civil engineering and am currently working on completing a M.S. in Project Management.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Interested to meet new people and make new friends abroad. I believe the best way to learn about a new place and culture is to spend time with the locals :) I prefer to avoid typical tourist areas and instead prefer to see places where foreigners may not frequently visit.
Music, Movies, and Books
For music I usually listen to alternative, heavy metal, rock, classical. Depends on what I am doing and my mood. Movies types I most enjoy are adventure, sci-fi, martial arts, documentaries. I usually read books to learn how to do something new.
