Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Open couch or space wherever I am . Have a number of places I live so bounce around a lot. but my main residence when in the USA is Guilford, Indiana near Cincinnati, Ohio. In East Africa I mostly can be found in the Maasai Mara at my place there or in the Kibera slums in Nairobi, Kenya.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fallen a few times but lucky they are low to the ground so no real injuries. On a more serous note I have had my share of stays in some great mansions and 5 star gigs and than the next day I might be in one of the largest slums under a cardboard and tin roof. Friends are pretty varied and love that.

Interests

While I joke I do not like people - I really do and love to meet new people doing good things. i spend most of my time exploring and meeting new people of just about any walk of life. I can live in the slums or the finest hotels to the beach to a farm to the middle of the bush.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm. tough since there are so many. one that comes to mind is my home in the middle of the Maasai Mara in Kenya. I can just be there and say wow - I live here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love for Americans to see they really do not have the freedoms they think they have. they have given them up and do not even know it. What I mean is real freedom. Not a pile of debt on your shoulders trying to keep up with the Jones. Drop the consumerism and live. Do you really need to buy more shit. why not travel and experience shit instead. Stop the excuses and be a del traveler. You will do it when your ready.
