About Me

I live in a beautiful part of Scotland near Loch Lomond. I love to share travel information, meet new people and travel around the world, exploring new countries, making new connections along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet locals when travelling in new areas, learn about local 'must visit' locations. Gain information about local travel options.

If im in your area i might drop you a message asking where the best locations for photography are. If i can't speak the local language i'll probably be in touch for some help with translations or i might ask you to come snowboarding or Scuba diving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

diving in the dark. I had a moonlight Scuba dive in the Red Sea in Egypt during a week long Scuba holiday.
To light the water during the dive, we were equipped with small torches. The little circle of light produced seemed insufficient to illuminate the ocean, the weak beam was to be swallowed by the vast black nothing. I could see my instructor when the beam was on him but he vanished into the black as soon as he moved from the torchlight. I stay close and we begin to slowly descend down a coral face until we reach what seemed like the bottom of the abyss , this is when my instructor signalled to me to turn off my torch. His torch goes dark. I thought he had gone mad, we hadn't discussed a game of hide and seek before hand. I switch off my torch. Blackness.
Then i start to see something. I can see my instructor, glowing.. he is gently waving his arms through the water, all of a sudden the water all around us was illuminated with a gentle, warm glow. The most amazing thing i've even seen. bioluminescent plankton

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basic of photography to anyone who owns a digital camera. I love landscape photography. The Scottish west Highlands are only an hour drive from my home, i spend a lot of time looking for new locations to shoot.

What I Can Share with Hosts

legendary cooking skills.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, Cuba, France, Italy, Morocco, Northern Ireland, Panama, Spain, Switzerland
