Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my sister told me about her first Couchsurfing experiences i also wanted to join the network. The fact that you can hereby get to know people who share the same travel passion and probably could give you good advice what is most interesting in their cities is just as appealing to me as the advantage that this is an opportunity to avoid expensive hotel costs. And also hosting couchsurfers in our flat is always refreshing and interesting way to give sth back for the hospitality you experience somewhere else

- being in Calais, Paris, Cologne and London within 30 hours
- hitchhiking with eight Brazilians in a van from Basel to Paris and Amsterdam and ultimately hosting them in my hometown Bocholt for one night
