Overview
About Me
After finishing my studies in psychology and trying to understand myself in the world and the world around me,
I started to travel the world and experience life firsthand in different places, learn about myself by pushing myself out of my comfort zone and learning about other people by having an open ear to their stories. 🌍
Traveling to New Zealand in the start of 2023 has made me explore my deep connection to nature. While couchsurfing and volunteering throughout NZ I started to fall in love with the country and the simpler life on the countryside away from the city. Since both my parents are from small farms I was always drawn to the outdoors and I was able to reconnect to these values.🌲
I met my boyfriend in NZ and we began to start making plans to invest in our future together.
Now, our dream is to settle down in NZ and have our own homestead one day. Thus, we are both very interested in exploring other cultures and the way people live their life all over the world to learn new skills, tips and tricks and share our way of willing with them in exchange.
Currently we are travelling together through south east Asia, learning about each other and the world everyday.
We are both fascinated by the Japanese culture and the mentality of the people and would love to learn more about it!!
We hope to meet a lot of interesting people and learn more about their life in Japan and hopefully we can give something of our culture back to our hosts 🇯🇵
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like Couchsurfing because it gives me the chance to get to know local people of the place I’m traveling in. It’s so valuable to learn about the place from their perspective and to share stories and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to many different genres and I like exploring new music through other people or gigs in the city I’m travelling around. One of my all time favourite artist though is Mac Miller.
I also try to read more books. I like to engage with topics of psychology, philosophy, nature and history in form of fictious stories.
One of the authors I really like is Paulo Coelho because he has a unique way of telling a story and speaking to the reader in a meaningful and spiritual way.
One of my favourite books ever is The Swarm by Frank Schätzing because there is so much we can learn from that book about ourselves and our connection to nature.
