Just about half a year ago I moved back to my hometown, Monheim. It's a nice, little city, conveniently situated between Cologne and Düsseldorf. However, Monheim itself also has quite a lot of advantages. It has a cosy old town with some restaurants, cafés and good ice-cream, a few historic buildings and it is located directly at the river Rhine which is great to go for a walk or bike around. I'm living together with my husband Ali and we're happy to host nice people. :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to get to know people. Since I always have a sense of "wanderlust" when I'm in Germany, I enjoy hanging out with people from different backgrounds who share their ideas about the world with me.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to music and reading literature that is connected with the places I'm staying at. In the past I got to know a lot of French and Turkish artists and writers because of that. Maybe you can tell me about good music and good literature from your place? I'd be a very happy person. :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Woofing in Fethiye. I loved using my hands to work in the fields and learning about nature. Also I enjoyed meeting people who were so different but got along so well. The team spirit was amazing - maybe also because of all the dancing at a Turkish village marriage.

My Interests
Among others: playing guitar, biking, watching movies, chatting with interesting people, learning languages, trying out different kinds of food, reading, playing games, taking pictures and - last but not least - traveling the world. :)
