ABOUT ME

A few years ago we took our three children out of school for a year and went back packing round the world together. It was the greatest experience imaginable - we travelled through South and East Africa, India, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Boliva, the USA and Canada. We camped, hostelled and couch surfed and slept in any number of buses and trains and on airport and station floors. We educated the children as we travelled and they learned more in that year than they ever would have done at school. Now we are back at our chaotic home and garden where we keep pigs, bees and chickens and make a slim living running our own business and trying to be as self sufficient as possible. You are very welcome to join us for a day or a few days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt Longido because the girls were too young to climb Kilamanjaro. Dived the Great Barrier Reef. Stayed with Cocama Indigiones in the Amazon. Walked the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu.
