I'm single and 60 though I'm still open. I have 2 new 16 year old foster children. They are the center of my life right now. I teach tai Chi and I fix houses for a living. I Love to travel. I did bed and breakfasts through Ireland and northern England, Scottland, Orkney Island and Whales. Did hostels through Alaska for 5 weeks. Traveled through Germany and Czechoslovakia - yes I am dating myself! Traveled with 3 small children in hostels, tents and campsites through Italy. (Still haven't been to France). As a family we stayed in Toronto MANY times. NY, NJ, FL with family. Other places with friends. Did out west a few times hiking and camping.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am planning a cruise with my new foster 16 year old twins. I could really use a free place to park with rides to and from the cruise lines, and maybe a nights stay on October 5. The cruise is from October 6 to the October 11. It's the twin's first cruise and I'd like to introduce them to traveling right and light!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
For my 60th birthday I took a 7 week trip to Alaska - hiking/backpacking by myself! I traveled the ferry to many eastern Islands, and to Dutch Harbor. Spent the night under a bush till I could find the hyroglyphs on the beach. Did the bus thing plus hiking through Denali. Stayed at China hot springs and got cleaned out! It was a great trip that started with "now that I'm here - what do I do without my kids?!"
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach and discuss tai chi with newbies or the experienced. I especially love to hear about places that I've not seen and share what I've experienced and what I've heard from others. I like to study how people live. Especially those different from me.
