Update; 🌏Hello fellow CS Travelling a lot over the next 6 months, I’ll gladly host again (when I’m back home), I’m a rolling stone gathering no moss until then. Read the references, that will tell you more than my blurb. I enjoy people that are very different to me as I learn when trying to understand their point of view. I’m a straight talker. People that are thrifty at the expense of others really bugs me, I’ve seen lots of this when I travel. I understand we all have different budgets but seeing someone take advantage of another’s generosity is not what CS is about.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have both hosted and surfed and have had nothing but brilliant experiences with this site and GFL (similar site pre CS). The world is full of amazing people. For me, CS is not about budget or scrimping but getting that opportunity to make a stranger a friend, and forging international relations with people whose path I’m unlikely to ever cross. I think the only way to ever really experience a country is through its people. CS can expedite that interaction. It’s a beautiful exchange of ideas. I’ve met some of my closest friends through CS.
Music, Movies, and Books
Any of the classics, and Gone with the Wind and North and South. Music Edith Piaf, Mano Chao, Ben Harper, Tracy Chapman, pretty much anything - I’m not a musical snob. Your taste is your taste which is fine with me🤗
