Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have not gone surfing myself, but a friend who has recommended it to me. Since joining, I have hosted a couple couchsurfers and it has been a positive experience.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Alt rock, singer/songwriter, alt country. Good food, wine, and conversation. I can usually find something in common with others.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Completed Marathon du Medoc, whitewater rafting on the Tuolumne in California; backpacked around Europe in High School; drove across the USA after college; skied the Italian Alps, French Alps, Rockies.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Private room with shared bath and a very sweet, friendly cat and a blue beta fish. You'll need a car! I'm about 45 minutes East of Philadelphia and 45 minutes West of the NJ shore. Closest public transportation to Philadelphia is a 20 minute drive. Unfortunately, my work schedule usually doesn't allow for hanging out/being a tour guide, but I'm happy to give lots of advice!
