Overview
About Me
I have many stories, not all of them happened to me, but all of them are true.
I'm currently working/ wondering about how to arrange some of the stories (and photos taken along the way) into a book (or other form) to share with a wider audience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
to meet interesting people and to live more like a local when I'm visiting a place. to help others do the same in New York.

Music, Movies, and Books
within a few weeks any list would be outdated, and I'd rather be listening/reading/watching instead of updating lists.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
being woken up by the brightness of the starry night sky while camping in New Zealand
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll be happy to teach any of the things listed in my interests.
I'm usually most interested in learning the languages of the countries I'm thinking of visiting. I'm also really interested in people's experiences of time and in what they do day to day. Also, learning about the permaculture practices that people are using in various places.
If you're interested in staying with me, please let me know a little bit about what you'd like to do in NYC/when you're visiting with me, so I can start thinking of possible adventures/projects. The second word of your request should be "ornithology" (the first word is in the My Home section).
What I Can Share with Hosts
conversations, sharing photos, food preparation help, plant care tips/ garden help, arts and crafts projects (I travel with a teeny tiny studio), someone to wander around aimlessly with, and later (and maybe for years to come) postcards in the mail
Countries I’ve Visited
