I believe it's best to help people out whenever possible. It widens ones horizons to learn about new cultures and host guests. I tend to see the good in people, not the bad. If everyone would be more trusting and open, we all could visit many more places without th concern for cost of lodging. If everyone would return the favor and host would become the guest, we all could be in harmony. I often hike the Appalachian trail and meet brand new people in the woods and have to sleep next to them at the shelters. I think nothing of having to do that.
