I am a bachelor degree student, German as a major. I like to talk about language itself and find out together some peculiarities of my own culture and from other cultures. I like to make food and enjoy it together with my friends. I also got interested in cycling last year, because I found out how much more you can see when you don't "travel too fast".

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to try alternative ways of lodging. I have no experience of living in a studio, therefore, staying in a hostel of more than one people or even someone's house is not a problem for me. Besides, for a student lodging being inexpensive is often more important than the location and the quality of facilities of the lodging. Furthermore, I think couchsurfing enables me to experience the local culture more, when my contact to local people is not just a worker-client based, but I as a visitor to someone's home should revere the hospitality of the host. I would also like to host visitors at my hometown at some point and tell them about some things that tourists wouldn't necessarily find out themselves.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about my culture and language or anything I know about other cultures. I want to learn things about your hometown.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I want to bring something from my home country to you. Furthermore, I like to bake, so we can try to do korvapuusti or even karjalanpiirakka, if there's time enough for that.
