Hi everybody,

My name is Jarno, I am 30 years old and I started using couchsurfing 6 years ago while traveling through USA and later Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. I've studied accounting back in the Netherlands and work as a manager at an worldwide accounting firm. I love sports and learning about different cultures and am very easy going and fun to be around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2016 I was traveling for 3,5 months in a row it was expensive to be in a hotel/hostel every single day. Besides that I would like to get to know the real American life and i get a better view on that while I'm staying with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have different tastes in music. I like harder electronic music (artists like: Headhunterz, Noisecontrollers and Da Tweekaz) and I like folk music (Mumford & Sons and Passenger)

I like all kinds of action/adventure movies. Also I like movies about sports such as Rocky and Draft day, Movie wise I have also a feminine side. The best romantic movie I have seen is called The best of me based on a Nicolas Sparks novel.

I don't read books. Only Harry Potter when I was younger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To had the courage to leave everything behind and start traveling on my own. A lot of people go abroad and travel, but I really go wherever I feel like going when I am feeling it without having a place to return. I genuinely think that I am born in one of the best parts of the world and I have a good life over there and giving up my job was a big deal for me.
