It is a great opportunity for me to get a local’s perspective of the city they live in, and if they are willing, recommendations on activities to do while I’m there. As I’m quite shy, it also allows me to hone my skills in interacting with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Embarking on a 6-month exchange programme in Europe in 2012, despite limited travel experience and being highly risk-adverse. Since then, it has completely changed my view toward travelling and I’ve never looked back.

When the work and holiday visa was open to Singaporeans in June 2017, I once again took a leap of faith and decided to pursue a gap year in Australia, resigning from my job of more than 4 years. I’ve been here since January 2018 and have been loving it!
