About Me

My friend said this "About Me":

"Jasmine is a gift! Her graciousness flows onto the pages of her writings: words scented with innocence, compassion and truth."

I'm friendly and fun, and I love new discoveries.

In life, I am motivated to live for the glory of God - I believe that is man's chief end.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very new. A shy hello to you.

I enjoy meeting new people and learning their stories.
How else to discover a place, a culture, a country?
They are always shaped by and connected to stories of generations before, and generations now. I believe the most precious part of travelling to any place is in the time spent with locals.

Interests

Dancing and writing. I dance with words when my feet fail to take off.
I enjoyed salsa & capoeira (would love to visit Brazil one day) while living in Adelaide. I love going on hikes, strolling by the beach, and enjoying nature!

In 2014, I visited:
Amman, Jordan -- http://taleprint.com/2014/11/08/jordans-most-celebrated-dessert-kunafa/
Canberra & Sydney, Australia -- http://taleprint.com/2014/04/06/sydney-a-thai-japanese-love-story/
Yunnan, China
