Overview
About Me
I am a student going to Moorpark College in Ventura, California studying to become a teacher. A passion of mine is food, consuming it and cooking it for others. I love to meet new people and exchange ideas/opinions on the world, current events, ideologies - but it's not a necessity. I can't stay away from being outdoors, hiking, camping, running, swimming, and enjoying nature.
I am originally from Los Angeles and very familiar with hiking spots, food spots, and the seemingly endless cultural intrigue offered by this vast county.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to extend and receive the opportunity to travel comfortably in the hands of kind and generous people. I am a little spontaneous so my adventures come and go randomly, although Summer is a great time for traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book of all time is Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes. I love Kurt Vonnegut, too. There are seriously too many books to list. Ask me about them!
The Godfather, American Beauty, Pulp Fiction.
Cortex, Alt-J, Art Blakey, James Taylor, Mac Demarco, Pokey LaFarge, the list goes on and on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 17 going to a concert in LA and not allowed into the 18+ venue (at the Echoplex in Echo Park), I convinced the band - Wildcat!Wildcat! - (who were next door eating pizza) to give me a vip pass so that I could dodge security and walk in. It was chill, I borrowed my friend's beanie and told a group of people on the back patio that I was gonna blend in next to them for a minute, which, of course, they were totally ok with. Concert was sweet, walking out and shooting a peace sign to the security officer who didn't let me in was sweeter.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new things and I have learned to be satisfied with introductions. It would make me so happy to read a play with others, acting out roles and drinking wine. I can teach you guitar chords (no songs yet) and things about math and physics. I can also show you my twisted interpretations of classical literature, which are sometimes not so twisted (no promises).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love for learning how to cook new meals with local, organic, fresh ingredients. I can share my love for life, exciting stories and my passion for adventure.
