Overview
About Me
Hey there people! I'm a chef by trade, a career seafarer interested in travelling the world. New to couchsurfing but enticed by the fact that it's a new way to meet other travelers. I'm open minded, endlessly intrigued by nature and history. I can be quiet at times, but love being around new people with similar interests. Music is an essential part of my life and I enjoy playing guitar and listening to others play.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A better means to live more simply and enjoy culture in its purest form. Hotels and hostels are great but do you really get a feel for how locals live unless you're right in there with them?! That's why I like the idea.
Interests
Music is first for me, motorcycles, water sports, enjoying the seaside living at my home...these are the others. If you make things too complicated you'll never enjoy where you are in life literally and figuratively.

Music, Movies, and Books
Rock, jazz, fusion. Docs and podcasts are my fav. Reading is an alternative when time permits and there's not much on the go.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a few years in the middle east working. Opened my eyes to some different culture, especially being from a small Canadian community.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A love of music, an eagerness to explore my surroundings, and a somewhat small library of stories from my travels over the years.
Countries I’ve Visited
Malta, Netherlands, Qatar, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United States
