I have a wonderful girlfriend and two amazing children. We love to travel together and see different parts of the world. Audrey travelled to Asia and South-America with friends and together we have travelled in Central-America for 3 months. The first years with the kids we had our holidays closer to home in Europe, but at some point the urge to see other parts of the world took over again.
That made us decide to take a further trip with the kids. When the kids were 1 and 3 ('16) we traveled for one month around Bali with them. They seem to have the same interest as us in finding out new places and discovering new sceneries, animals, beaches,... So now we are encouraged to make them see more of the world and to teach them that there is more variety out there than what they see in day to day life.

Our family consists out of the following members:
- Jasper: Loves spending time playing soccer with Lanse and making fun with June. Professionally I'm working as a Consultant (Project Manager) in a software consulting company in Brussels, Belgium.
- Audrey: Caring mother with a passion for travelling. Has travelled in most parts of the world and gave the travelling spirit on to her boyfriend and kids. For work she is a self employed psychologist in a psychology practice and coach in various companies in Belgium.
- Lanse: An almost 5 year-old piece of energy who loves to play games, soccer and swimming. On top of that he is a very proud big brother teaching his sister all the good and bad things in life.
- June: An almost 2 year old independent little girl, who will do anything rather than sitting still. Making puzzles, singing, dancing, running around and making everyone laugh are just a few of the things she's doing all day.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because we love to travel and see the world through the eyes of the locals all over the world. Meeting up with people that can tell you something about the culture and the way of living in the country you are visiting is worth so much more than the superficial contacts with a hotel receptionist. That's why we really hope to meet people through CS who are also open to other cultures and would be willing to share with us a little piece of their world.

I love all sorts of music, going from blues and jazz over rock to pop and electronic music.
Obviously a lot of children's songs can be heard throughout the house since a few years.

- Diving into the blue hole in Belize (more than 40 meters deep) immediately after the 4 day diving course.
- Traveling for a month around Bali with a 1- and 3-year old.
