About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting to know myself by getting to know others
ABOUT ME
I'm someone who's interested in a lot of stuff. I love to do sports (basketball, squash, running, swimming, climbing,...). I like music: I play the guitar and a little flute and piano, I like to listen to soft music (style Jack Johnson), but i can appreciate almost anything. I like going out (not the disco's, but pubs and bars, not crowded places).
I used to be active in a youth mouvement and i like to play games (boardgames, cardgames, youth-mouvement-games, video games...).
I'm not an excessive talker, rather a listener. Nevertheless I'm always up for a good talk.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat other people as you would have them treat you. Enjoy the moment, you've only got now to do so.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've had some great experiences meeting different people in the past, and I always wanted to meet more people. Then I stumbled onto Couchsurfing, and I just love it. The whole philosophy is a refreshing breeze through our world. Therefore I try to host when I can. And of course I'm hoping to go couchsurfing all over the world myself!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just great! The amount of mutual trust and respect is amazing and feels completely natural, although you've never met before. I'm glad this is still possible in our society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been to Peru with AFS on an intercultural exchange. I've stayed in a host family there for 11 months, and so far it's been the most wonderful experience I've had in my entire life. To be welcomed into an unknown culture, into somebody's home, and be loved and cared for as a son/brother/long lost friend. Amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some guitarplay, some general knowledge about sustainable building, some programming and some basic beerknowledge (very important as a Belgian).
