ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as very friendly and laid back. I'm open to all kind of experiences so I'm always up for trying new things. I can get along with pretty much anyone (a trait I pride myself on), and like to learn from all the different people I meet. I am super competitive, I like to be the best at everything I try (impossible I know). I don't smoke, and don't like being around people who do. I enjoy drinking, although don't seem to do it as much these days as I used to. I like to go out and have fun, though don't try to get me out dancing without at least a few drinks! I prefer to hang out at more chill places where I can talk to people and get to know them.
I love to travel but often don't have the funds and/or time to do so. Have been to England, France and Taiwan and can't wait to see more of what the world has to offer. Spent a lot of time living in the US and am now back home enjoying the Aussie life :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed with George in CT just for 1 night on my way up to Vermont. We had a great time, he took me in to NYC where we met up with some other CSers and had a great night.
Have been attending CS events around Melbourne, having a great time and meeting some fantastic CSers.

兴趣

I love basketball! Have played it my entire life and it has taken me many places, I wouldn't be where I am today without it! I like playing participating in all kinds of sports.
I like riding my bike (unfortunately just a regular bicycle at this point, I will have a motorbike some day!) and am trying to do it more. I like to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors. I love hanging out with my friends.
I like music, used to play the clarinet and saxophone in school which I really miss. (Yes, I did go to band camp and what happens at band camp stays there, haha!)
I like photography and wish I was better at it. I took a class in both school and college and loved it but I think I'm missing that little extra creativity that great photographers possess.
I love to travel and learn about new places. I like doing the typical tourist things but love seeing different places from an insiders view. I want to see the whole world and experience all the different cultures that make it the fascinating place it is.

Movies: I love movies, there's nothing better than being curled up on the couch on a rainy day watching a great movie. I like all types of movies and especially enjoy the odd trip to the drive in :-)
Music: My favourite band is the John Butler Trio. I saw them play up in DC and got to meet them in person, they not only play fantastic music but they're all really nice! My music taste definitely depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I listen to everything from classical to hip hop to hard rock. I love music I can sing along to, usually in the comfort of my car or shower.
Books: I love a good book, the kind that you just hate to put down. That book doesn't have a particular genre for me, so I can't really say what kind of books I like best, just well written ones I guess.
