I am a 21 year old student at Hope College in Holland, MI. I am majoring in Chemistry & Spanish, and I aspire to be an orthodontist someday. I love going on adventures. Family is important to me. I'm obsessed with dogs (especially big ones). Last year I studied abroad for a semester in Spain. I play volleyball.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have passions for traveling the world & for people. I believe that Couchsurfing is a perfect way to incorporate the two! What better way to explore new places than by experiencing them with a local?

I joined Couchsurfing last year because it was the first time I actually had the opportunity to travel a new part of the world. Therefore, I'm new at this! I have now Couchsurfed three times, and all were amazing experiences. I hope you will consider hosting me because no doubt I will be hosting people in the future when I have my own place to live!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a medical mission trip in Brazil: living in a boat and going down the Amazon River to help tiny villages in need.

walking the places where Jesus walked in Israel and having the Bible come to life.

watched all three Lord of the Rings extended edition movies in one day.

won a NCAA national championship in volleyball last year!!
