Overview
About Me
I’m a high school Biology teacher that is happiest outdoors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met a couple of couchsurfers while I was wandering around in Japan and they convinced me to join. They were incredibly kind people and their experiences sounded amazing.
I joined because I want to experience places and cultures from a local’s perspective and meet new friends. I like to learn from and share genuine experiences with other people. I think traveling is more fun when I can make meaningful connections with people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Almost all kinds of music.
I like movies and books that tell a good story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve wanted to hike to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park ever since my dad hiked it when I was a little kid. Last summer, I finally hiked to the top!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share a hike, volleyball game, or any of your favorite activities with you. I want to learn about your culture and life perspective. I am currently trying to learn how to use a pottery wheel, teach myself how to surf, and want to get more experience climbing outdoors so it would be amazing if you could share your knowledge with me. I can teach you to play piano.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am positive, kind, and considerate. I can be a hiking buddy, beach volleyball partner, and top rope climbing partner. I am always willing to go on an adventure.
