Life is too short to spend on negativity...laugh, laugh, laugh

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can provide a couch and/or a spare room w/ twin bed. I also have lots of floor space and then there is the great outdoors with recliners on the covered patio.
Planning a trip back to Ireland in 2011. I'm thinking now that CS will be the best way to do it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, except for my friend in Wisconsin who is also a couch surfer.

Interests

I am an amateur genealogist. My tree is pretty complete, so I like to do research for friends. I'm an animal lover (have dogs and cats) Spare time spent gardening, reading, drawing and just being outdoors. My husband Fred and I enjoy hiking, traveling (couchsurfing), visiting hot springs and getting used to being retir

Music, Movies, and Books

I read alot of historical fiction...it's fun picking up a book at the library, opening it and finding out that it's based on your ancestor's family.
I like most kinds of music. I listen to my celtic music as often as possible, but I can sing along with current stuff too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably throwing myself out of a "perfectly good airplane" I did it 9 times, but the 1st one (the tandem) was the most amazing because I wasn't as scared as the other 8 times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share some of the little tricks I've learned while researching my genealogy.
I like to learn something new every day,
