About Me

New to Pittsburgh, I'm originally from MN. I try to spend as much time outside as possible hanging out with the pups doing all the things that we love. I work as a cardiac nurse and occasionally pick up shifts from my previous career as a vet tech. Always up for a beer at the brewery, even better with a game of cribbage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people especially people that are following their passions in life. My favorite thing that I've noticed about the people on Couch Surfing is their ability to be so excited about the things they love. When your excitement about a job/hobby/lifestyle is so extreme that you can make someone else equally as jazzed about it, that's cool. The world needs more people that can spread joy and share their imagination.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organized a non-profit event called Pints for Pups raising $5,000 for animals in Northern MN who need emergency medical care when their owners lack the resources to cover the costs of treatment and are forced to make difficult decisions due to a lack of financial means.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll say I'm wildly mediocre at this and that but I can make a mean spaghetti and meatballs...but it's a secret recipe so you'll have to play your cards right.

I recently took part in a side gig learning industrial sewing to ultimately be able to repair my own gear.

I love to learn new things and failing at something new is one of the most humbling and rewarding experiences you can have.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hair on all your clothes - 2 pups (Monty and Remy) 2 cat loafs (Gus and Olaf)

Always happy to turn on the grill or go out for food/drinks
