Interests

I can be quite active - I love outdoor activities. A great vacation would include camping, cycling and hiking (especially in the mountains!). I also enjoy sports. I'm always up for a game of soccer or (beach) volleyball.

Many people think I'm crazy when I tell them winter is one of my favorite seasons. But the cold weather brings outdoor skating, sledding and skiing! I tried snowboarding for the first time last winter - I was sore for a week! Next time, I think I'll take a lesson.

I'm not always active so don't take me for someone who's always on the go. I also enjoy a nice evening in front of the TV, watching a movie or two and eating a tasty meal, preferably cooked with someone else. I do enjoy cooking, usually with recipes though. So don't expect me to have the ability to grab random items from a refrigerator and whip up a gourmet meal on the spot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hmm...it would have to be quitting my job, picking up and moving to poland without having a place to live or even a job. fate brought me to a small city, tarnow, where i lived for a number of years, made great friends and i eventually found out that my family roots came from this city. i even ended up meeting numerous distant relatives from both sides of my family! a truly amazing experience.

i'm ready to share my life experiences with anyone who's willing to spend time with me and i'm open to learning anything you have to offer. a few hobbies i would love to learn are glassblowing (yes, i know it's expensive) and painting and/or drawing. currently i'm hopeless at both.
