Hello! My name is Jeffrey and I'm a software engineer from San Francisco, California, though I'm originally from Texas. I'm an avid traveler and love experiencing new cultures, especially the food! To meet the locals as I travel and learn from each of them. Recent experienced Couchsurfing for the first time during a solo trip to UAE, Oman, and Jordan and met such cool people!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love to dance and enjoy music I can dance to. Typically listen to electronic house/dance music and enjoy music festivals! Books: I read lots of non-fiction, and love a range of science topics, though focus mainly on psychology, self-improvement, neuroscience, and astrophysics/astronomy. Movies: Don't watch many, too many places to travel and things to learn.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Backpacked Southeast Asia for two months. Ended up doing a 7-day silent meditation retreat at a monastery and getting a sakyant tattoo from a monk.
