About Me
Hi there!
My name is Jen. I am an easy going and friendly person who likes a good laugh.
Hosting I am looking to host female travellers in brisbane. Weekends only, I work full time during the week.. check in with me first with a message ... My place is central, clean and comfortable. The sleeping space is my fold out sofa in my lounge room and I have an air mattress which I could potentially host a 2nd guest
My purpose on Couchsurfing is to provide a safe place for female travellers and the mutual exchange of a positive surfing/hosting experience!
I grew up in the Glass house mountains on a small hobby farm. I love nature and have looked after many animals from dogs and cats to birds, chickens, geese, ducks, cows and sheep!
I am an environmental scientist and I have been working for the qld government since 2012, looking at the quality of drinking water within water treatment plants and distribution supply systems. Before that I worked on beaches all across south east qld as a marine ecologist. I have very basic French and Spanish, but still learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking for a different travel experience than staying in hotels and hostels. I have used Air Bnb in Australia, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong and SE Asia.
