I have found myself with an addiction to canyoneering so I will planning many more epic travels to places that offer this time of adventure.

ABOUT ME

I am an open book. Honesty just goes along with that. I might not want to always tell the truth, but somehow it finds its way out of my mouth. I am a true Southerner. I love the culture, fellowship and character of the people in the South. Folks just really seem to go out of their way for you around these parts, even if they don't know you and my Mama raised me right. I have also been urbanized. Watch out. Country meets city.. yeh I can swing with the best of them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am so excited about being a part of this traveling and hospitable community! I have been couch surfer and welcoming couch surfers for years, just not officially through this site. I usually meet people.. who know people.. that live wherever.. and might have a place to crash and I always return the favor. It's nice that someone finally put this all together so that cool travelers can stay better connected! Thanks to the couch surfing Mastermind : )

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wow... where do I begin? I have couch surfed in Costa Rica, Mexico, Hawaii, New York, Washington, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Canada, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Idaho, California... too many stories to tell. I tell you when I meet you!

Comedy- Laughing is the best medicine... standup, skit and improv.
Outdoors- I am a nature girl. Camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, cave trekking, canyoneering, rappelling, climbing, white water rafting, skydiving, fishing, boating, sightseeing, thrill rides.
Culture Immersion - I truly believe that travel is the BEST education money can buy. Connecting with those around the world, taking the time to listen and learn helps you be a better human and more accepting of those that have different ways of life.

I love all kinds of music. I keep an open mind and go with the vibe. I am really into reading theoretical physics. One of my classic faves is A Brief History in Time - Stephen Hawkins. Right now I am on a self improvement journey so most of my reading centers around that.
