Music is my sanity, teaching is my passion, travel is my luxury. I'm always up for adventure. I believe in community and kindness. My favorite things are the simple things, good friends, long walks, cooking, reading and sleeping in late!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS community. I'm on the road several times a year and hope to meet fellow CS members throughout my travels and make new friends along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My career as a performing songwriter has taken me all over the world. I don't think I realized I'd been couch surfing all this time but that pretty much sums it up! Hmm a story... in London back in 04 we lucked out and stayed in Farnham in a musicians flop house of sorts. The small house was a central location for other travelers and musicians. We had no idea what we where getting into when we left the USA but our host opened up his heart and home. Within a few days we were gigging and traveling together all over the UK. it was priceless!

Interests

I love to travel. It's changed my life in so many ways. I make my home in Montana which in itself is an adventure. I love to write, read good books, walk my dog, cook and play music!

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh so many to choose from. I watched Forrest Gump the other day for the millionth time and loved every moment! I'm currently listening to Cesaria Evora. I think she's amazing. I'm reading Once Upon a River by Bonnie Joe Cambell. What a great story!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in China just before the Olympics in 06. I spent a month with my Mom, traveling from Beijing to Tibet to Shanghai. It was beyond fascinating. I grew especially fond of the people in the country side. They were so gracious and inviting. Loved it and would love to go back.
