About Me
I am an outdoorsy, nature-loving, adventurer who loves to get lost in the wilderness! I grew up in the state of Colorado, so I guess that is where my passion for the outdoors really blossomed.
I'm currently a graduate student pursuing a master's in Conservation Biology. I own my own business as a private, in-home dog trainer and I very much enjoy helping owners better understand their dogs.
My husband is my favorite travel partner, but due to my flexible schedule, I will be taking some solo trips over the next couple of years! My travels often consist of a heavy pack and sturdy hiking shoes :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I start my solo-travels this year, I want to meet locals and enrich my travels with good conversation and friendship.
My husband and I have a large spare master bedroom in our Denver home and want to share our space with people who have the same passion for exploring the world!
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite artists include Kygo and Flume. I also enjoy a good "coffee house station" off Pandora.
I'm not really a book-reader or a movie-watcher. I play outside too much to get into books or movies on a regular basis!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If I could only pick ONE... well, I used to be a dolphin trainer in Hawaii which was awesome.
I was also a snowboard instructor in Breckenridge for a season which was quite fun as well :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A comfortable space with a private bathroom. Close access to Denver. Great hiking, climbing, skiing, or camping tips!
