I'm 37 and married. I graduated from Georgia Tech in Atlanta and I work for a Fortune 100 company - ITW, Inc.. I'm in sales and I manage my customer's account here in the US and in Mexico. I've traveled to 44 of the 50 States, mostly for work. I try to be a true Christian by loving and respecting everyone from every walk of life. I have 3 wonderful dogs and a fish. I sometimes foster for the local shelter and I'm a skilled volunteer supervisor for Habitat for Humanity. I'm not sure what else to say...so I guess that's it!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have a stable career and a wonderful home and a "normal" life, but I miss traveling around the world. We now have mortgages and dogs and dog boarding and cars and just ...bills. We *can* afford airfare and hotels most of the time, but we want to experience the culture and not just the downtown Hilton. We've also found that the locals know all the really good/secret spots! We found a beautiful black sand beach in Hawaii from a local who showed us where the unmarked trail head was. We had the entire beach to basically ourselves with only 2 other people... simply fantastic!
Music, Movies, and Books
Just about anything, but I did grow up on John Denver and I met him once...so he's always a favorite. Movies - Pixar, Disney and anything Marvel. Books - Fantasy and novels - like Brandon Sanderson and Barbra Kingsolver. I've read a lot of Nora Roberts, but just because she's good for reading on planes.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I've been scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is a lesson about learning compassion - don't fail it.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Lots of dog stories! We really want to learn from our hosts, but we've been to some amazing places and seen some really cool things. And as long as my husband's with me - he can also cook some really amazing Italian dinners.
My Interests
I enjoy reading, mountain biking, roller blading, hiking, hang gliding, hot yoga, diving... I pretty much like it all. I've traveled to 11+ countries (not enough) and I really love seeing different types of scenery and ecosystems.
