I'm recently separated and I have 2 teenage boys, one of whom is in college in NYC. They are my heart and soul. Despite this, it's a running joke that I'm a 41-year-old millennial, although highly responsible. One Amazing Thing I've Done
My older son was born at 24 weeks gestation and weighed less than 1.5 lbs at birth. While he was in the NICU, I threw blood clots and ended up in the ICU. The doctors said that neither of us would make it, but 21 years later, we're both doing great.
