Hi there, I'm Jen.
I am from New York, USA, but have also lived in other many other U.S. states, including Alaska. I have spent the last ~10 years as a wildlife biologist and now am teaching college biology. I love all outdoors activities and also learning about local cultures, such as with music and art.

I have recently returned to education and am hoping to pursue a career in nature guided tours. I love learning about our world and sharing that experience with others. I believe our world will become better when each individual does their part to share meaning in life with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to couch surfing and think it's a great opportunity to meet local people. I'll be travelling alone for the first time to New Zealand and would love the insight on the great places to go. I like being social and would be down to hang out with others for day travel activities or some evening events.
