ABOUT ME

We are a couple of creative folk, Jennifer a dancer and designer, Joel an artist and a thinker. We come from the south east of the United States, but met in St. Louis Missouri. Jennifer Graduated from Florida State University and did her Internship at Washington University in St. Louis. Joel Graduated from the College of Charleston and got his MFA from Washington University in St. Louis.
We Met at a super bowl party. Together we like listening to music (Coldplay, MGMT, Cut Copy and Fleet Foxes are some we both hold dear), going to the Cinema, going on adventures in the country, exploring new places, cooking dinner together, watching So You Think You Can Dance, talking about Politics and social issues, discussing relationships, shopping and fashion, swimming, snowboarding, going out to eat at Mangia and Dewies Pizza, Red Wine, Hosting Parties, Going to Openings, biking riding in Forest Park.
Jennifer likes to Salsa Dance, Joel can only rolly chair dancce. Jennifer writes poems, Joel tries to rhyme.

PHILOSOPHY

Love others, love God, learn, dance and party. Strive in faith, hope and love to bring peace to this world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are participating in Couch surfing by hosting people and by traveling around Spain and Italy meeting new people. This summer Joel hosted Matt who was biking cross country. Joel has used Couch Surfing to meet new people while he is living in Paris. We would really like to meet new people and spend a bit of time getting to know them over dinner or something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Joel has hosted and met people for coffee. Jennifer helped out in hosting by going out to dinner with us :) She is eager to meet new people and make this a more in depth experience.

Interesses

Joel has spent the Fourth of July watching the sun go down at Yosemite--what an amazing thing. Jennifer has spent time in Burkina Faso caring for and befriending orphans.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

Jennifer dances salsa, and can teach anyone who would like to learn. Joel likes to teach drawing as an act of deep looking and can humbly talk politics!
