I want to see it all! Travel is a passion of mine, and I love meeting other people who feel the same way. I'll go anywhere in the world, and I want to meet people who are part of the culture... not just four walls of a hotel room.

ABOUT ME

Wow, what do you need to know about me? I'm pretty laid back, and I love experiencing new things. I've had some great travels, and I look forward to many, many more! Right now I'm in a race to finish visiting all 50 states before I'm 30. I'm well on my way, and I don't have any doubt I'll get it done. Seeing my own country inspires me to explore more.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing, hosting, and defending the concept when people act like I'm a complete moron for staying with strangers and letting them stay with me.

Also, I genuinely enjoy helping people who come through Birmingham, even if they're not staying. Meeting people from other countries is especially exciting for me. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good. I'd consider myself a good guest, trying to treat others' homes as though they were my own. If I dirty a dish, I'll typically wash my own along with whatever else you've got piled up.

As a host, I try to make my guests feel as comfortable as possible. My experiences have been great thus far, and I've fallen in love with this concept.

Interests

Cooking, hanging out, enjoying conversations over coffee, drinks, etc., seeing new things, dancing when the music is right.

I'm always reading something. If I don't like it, I put it down and move to the next thing. If I do like it, I finish and suggest it to others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kayaking in a glacial bay in Alaska blew my mind. There were bald eagles all over the place.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people some cool recipes, including true Southern cuisine. I enjoy cooking, and I'm happy to cook for you! I'd also love to learn new recipes from guests and hosts.
