Overview
About Me
I’m 25, born and raised in Moscow, lived in Tel Aviv for 1.5 years, now I live in Moscow again.
I’m an geographer by education (specialisation in geochemistry and soils) trying to find my path in the world. I worked as an ecologist, as a business development manager in a renewable energy startup ( when I lived in Israel), and now I’m a travel instructor. Helping people to be more travellers than tourists😌 I’m going to guide a group of travellers in Japan so recently I’ve been reading about the culture and watching attack on titan :)
I’ve started to learn playing piano a couple of months ago, can’t say how much I love it. Also one of my latest hobbies is leaning Adobe premiere pro, want to make videos from my life and trips
Among other things I enjoy: dancing, reading (including science and poetry), taking photos, running, making picnics, contemplating nature and exploring cultures
I am a person who enjoys an activity like 6 am yoga just as much as staying up till 6 am (not within the same day usually haha)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like various types of music, depends on my mood. When I visit a country I like to listen to the local music. Generally, I’m never tired of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Prodigy, David Bowie. I love Russian musicians as well, like Nautilus Pompilius or Mumiy Troll. My favourite music when I do my home duties is something old and Italian ha
With movies it’s tough to choose as well, here are some of my favourite ones: Inglorious bastards, Pulp fiction, Django unchained (yes I guess I love Tarantino), Interstellar, Only lovers left alive, The matrix, The pianist, Snatch, Office Romance, and my favourite comedy is what we do in the shadows
Books - Russian classics are at my heart
I think I love books that make me feel alive, reminding that the moment is passing. I believe in English it’s called sweet sorrow. I kind of enjoy feeling sad from the art (including books ofc). Like The great Gatsby or the Norwegian forest
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Was almost attacked by a mother-bear on the Kunashir Island but made it (or her?..) run away. I have plenty of interesting stories about what it’s like to learn geography at the university and how it shapes you. It’s about the spirit (and the bears lol)
Hitchhiked 1700 km 48 hours without sleeping
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you ice skating, Russian, some Hebrew, how to play the main theme from happy potter on piano. Would love to exchange cultural experience. I love learning languages and dive into different cultures
What I Can Share with Hosts
Meaningful and meaningless conversations, culture exchange, friendly vibes. I do love doing dishes😂
