Hello, I am Jeongeun Kim from South Korea, and my English name is Anna. Most of my friends from not Korea call me Anna :)

I love mother nature and traveling. That's why I am here in Yellowknife now. I am working as a tour guide for visitors to see the Northern lights. I really love and enjoy this life here. Also, I do love to meet new people and share what I thought and have; basically my country, Korean culture, daily life, interest etc. I like to talk and listen to others. Especially, I love to listen about people's goal of life like what they want to make and would like to be in the future.

I used to write an essay about my daily life and travel, I published indie essay books as an annual project. I love to make small projects such as publish a book and hold a music concert. I want to keep doing this. If I have a chance to do something special in Canada before I leave, it will be awesome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people from all over the world. Couchsurfing is the one of the way to do this. I am willing to share my thought to someone who also open to meet new people. It will be super amazing to meet friends in somewhere I travel.

'I'm not the only one' is my favorite music, it's Sam Smith's. I pretty much enjoyed Korean pop, if you have a chance to listen, I recommend 'One Spring Day' of Urban Zakapa. I do love this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last spring, I joined a music concert held by my sister, she used to work as a director of theater and festival. She got some people who want to sing songs and play piano, and guitar. We are not musician, very normal people just like music. The concert was awesome! I played piano, three songs. It was one of the my great day ever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do well know about Korean culture as I am Korean. I do love to share my country culture as well as food. If you want, I can make some foods as well :)

I can teach Korean. I have taught Korean to my friends from abroad before. I want to exchange the language, I am learning French, and Chinese. I am interested in Spanish and Japanese also. English is always welcome.
