Overview
About Me
I am a self-confessed wanderlust/lawyer. I like to travel to different places not as a tourist but as a local of that place. I hope to know more other cultures and share travel stories with fellow couchsurfers. I am a big fan of local cuisines and the arts. I intend to conquer the world one couch at a time. I am open to joining groups of backpackers or a travel buddy while I am on hiatus for months while I wait for my Oath Taking with Philippine National Police. I am interested in learning different languages and I would love teach my local language and regional dialects in my country, Philippines. I would try my best to teach English language to those who want to learn. Looking forward to meet fellow wanderlusts. We can exchange ideas and maybe cook together our country's dishes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I know what it feels like to travel to unknown places or countries. Having someone who is local who would host weary travelers is such a bliss. As a local of Iloilo City in the Philippines, I would try my best to immerse you to an Ilonggo way of life. Living like the locals do. I am also looking forward to share with you the beauty of the City of Love as well as other beautiful places here in the Philippines.
Interests
I love to cook, movie marathons, series like The Walking Dead and Prison Break, going to the beach, shopping, jogging, church hopping, reading, going to places I've never been to, island hopping, clubbing, the list goes on...

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Reggae, RnB, Bossa Nova, Alternative, Ballad, Jazz, Hiphop, Metal and Classics. Hitch, Shutter Island, Blood Diamond, The Last Castle, Enemy of the State, Tears of the Sun, Predator, Shawshank Redemption are some of my kind of movies. I love the works of Paulo Coehlo, Dale Carnegie, Chinua Achebe and Robert Kiyosaki. Law books are always my staple books but a little bit of John Maxwell and Stephen King won't hurt a bit.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped organize a relief mission to survivors of typhoon Haiyan(Yolanda) which was considered the strongest typhoon to hit earth since time immemorial. The tears and sense of gratitude of families who received the relief goods are priceless.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you English and Tagalog. I can show you around Iloilo City and nearby towns and cities. Experience the local way of life, try local cuisines, going to churches for some history lessons and maybe teach you the local dialect of Hiligaynon. Let's exchange cultures and stories of adventures.
