About Me

MISSION:

Die with memories, not with dreams and when writing the story of your life, don’t let anyone else hold the pen.

FUN FACTS:

I'm 33 from the city of Chicago, I enjoy traveling independently as much as I enjoy it with friends and family. I try to learn something new each and everyday from the people I meet with their experiences and culture. Having said that I can be easily convinced if you're looking for a friend to travel nearby or far. Also, I walk really fast.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people. From my travels I'd made great friends and connections. I'm one of those who believe there's more good than evil and perhaps the bad get more press publicly than the good. I also want to start Couchsurfing more as well too. I'm just amazed on the whole experience people have shared.

If you're visiting Chicago and need some fun spots to visit, eat or see. I'll be happy to share and if I'm around glad to take you around.

Interests

I enjoy going out, playing sports more than watching it, singing in the car pop, country and dance songs, eating bananas and meeting great people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't watched any movies lately. My friends and I got invited to the Fast and Furious 7 (or 8) premiere in Hollywood. We started work early and worked all day and even continued working during the flight there. We then ate a big meal on our way to the theatre. Surprisingly we made it on time but with the weight of the food we just had with the lack of sleep and being exhausted sitting on that theater chair felt so good and the three of us fell asleep during the preview trailers. We didn't make it past the opening scene of the movie because we got escorted out for one of us snoring. But boy was it an incredible 20 minutes of sleep.

With music, I'm all over the board. Right now my top artists are Chance, Kenny Chesney, Chainsmokers, Florida Georgia Line, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Hasley, Arcade Fire, Keith Urban, Zedd and Drake. I have a Spotify playlist that I keep adding songs to, I'll be happy to share it. The newest songs I like are at the bottom of the list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked overnight the Haiku Stairs to catch the sunrise in Hawaii.

Hiked the entire Grand Island Loop

Won the basketball 3 point championship at my local gym I go to.

Convinced our helicopter pilot that I should take over with just him giving me verbal commands. (My friends we're scared and I guess me too but we all made it, without a scratch on us and the helicopter!)

Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza many years too.

I organized and built a playground with my team for a school that totally needed it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I work with cars so if there's you need to know or need a recommendation or opinion, I'm your guy. If you need a little more spice in your life, I'll always have Tabasco.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm thinking good stories, probably funny ones that are humbling. Maybe, if you got an itch to do something great, I'd might be able to motivate you to do it.
