About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling to either California or Oregon, and doing art and permaculture along the way!

ABOUT ME

So lets see... where to begin... I studied art and art history for a couple of years in and after highschool. I've become adept at portraits and murals etc. But as I ventured the first confusing years of college, I became more and more interested in plants and ecology (although I was always interested in that outdoorsy type of stuff when I was a kid. Soon found permaculture and fell in love with it. Then for the next few years I met amazing teachers and honed my skills and knowledge regarding all aspects of Permaculture. I soon got to design my own site and have since done jobs like work on a mushroom farm (edible gourmets :) run a landscaping crew (which wasn't quite as fun) work on a =n aquaculture farm, and most recently (and most excitedly) I worked as the director of Permaculture at a place in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, called The Yoga Forest. I've started traveling from there but I soon plan to return in November to teach a Permaculture Design Course. And now I'm in Mexico, traveling north along the West Coast woop woop! Oh yeah and I'm really into music, I play the drums and I love Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Fusion, HipHop, Electronic, Indie Folk/Rock, you name it! So Anyone that;s into any of those things, I'm sure we'll get along :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am a man dedicated to a mission; to bridge the gap between ecology and sociology, conservation land and agricultural land. I see myself and all of Humanity's ultimate role as being the counselors of the Earth, finding the that between the special relationships of certain organisms and mechanisms. I look to bring autonomy to community and to turn this world back into a Eutopia through food forestry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So I'm traveling now and I will definitely need places to stay along the way. But here's the good part: what I can offer. I'm more than happy to help with any art projects (portraits, murals esp.), garden, and permaculture design work/consultation, natural building projects, terraforming (swale design, pond construction, etc.) and I'm a decent drumming so any music collaboration projects I happy to be a part of!

Too many to get into sorry :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I just checked out a hotsprings waterfall for the first time. I've recently made friends around the world, as this most recent adventure was my first time living outside the country.
