About Me

I've never enjoyed writing presentation stuff like this, always found it quite tedious to write about myself in CVs etc. But oh well here goes...

Who am I then? First off am I a student in the middle of my bachelor degree in social work. I have however taken a year off this autumn and that is the major reason you're even reading this right now.
I decided months prior that I needed to go somewhere, you Know, to test where the boundaries of my comfort zone are and yeah just a big adventure.

So I am thus on a journey that is planned to take me over the Canadian landmass not twice but thrice times
Itineraries are:
*Banff national park
*Calgary
*Montreal and Québec
*Toronto Ottawa and other interesting parts of Ontario
* NYC
*Pennsylvania
*Seattle
*Vancouver

On this journey I hope to take in as much of the Canadian (and American) culture and way of seeing on life, the world, politics etc

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very new to this community but after have stayed at a couple of hosts I've realized that couchsurfing is a great quick gateway to the feeling of actually living in the current city. Yes of course can you travel to do and visit the most touristic things but that is done in three days or less easy. Staying at a person means hanging out with them and have amusing conversations or just to watch TV, go grocery shopping or visit the host's favorite local pub and that is for me the real reason for travels and cultural exchange.

Interests

Have been practicing archery since I was 10-11 (so about 12 years) had to but the equipment on the shelf when I went to university though.
Is kinda into photography and this is a hobby I would nurse even more if I had the money for it, for my trips my Sony rx100 II suffice enough even though I would love to bring my heavy nikon d7000

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke up at 4 am and rode with my girlfriend on an electric scooter to a place from where we saw the sun rise over the pacific from a small island east of Taiwan.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you as a host are into dancing, yoga, a sport or any other activity and find it possible to let me as your guest join you for a class I would do so wholeheartedly. Because this way I get to experience how it is to practice different activities I would never gotten the idea to try by myself.

I honestly don't know what I can share with you as a guest as I'm not very talented musically or when it comes to art.
I am very open minded though and as stated above would like to share and parttake culture and ways of seeing things. You would probably find it easy to have conversations and diskussions about all things of this world with me.

P.s I'm quite handy and like to cook a bit. D.s
