About Me

MOST IMPORTANT: I am NOT interested in using CS for dating or sexual purposes. I just want to make new FRIENDS.
I love meeting people and learning about new cultures, as well as languages. I love traveling because of all of that, as well as food! I love helping people and making people gifts and being the one to host things. I'm not much of a cook, I'm really slow to get jokes, and my friends are my life. I love working out at the gym and running, but am not much of a hiker. I'm a nondenominational Christian and love trying out new churches when I travel, specifically those with live bands. I love the beach and the mountains, and nature amazes me. I love thunderstorms as long as I'm not outside in the middle of it. I love music and I want to learn the guitar. Romantic comedies, comedies in general, and kids' movies are my kind of thing. I love Winnie the Pooh stuff but not the show. I'm obsessed with minions and princesses. I love celebrating things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

NOT FOR DATING OR SEX.
I've always stayed in hostels, hotels, airbnbs, with friends and family, etc., and I want to try couchsurfing! I think it sounds so cool to just open up your home to some random people that are excited to learn about your city and community and regional culture, and if I had an extra bedroom or a big enough couch, I would 100% be a host.

Interests

I'm a foodie. If I could get paid to travel, learn languages, and eat food, I would.

  • chinese food
  • indian food

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: country, Jesse y Joy, K Love music, a variety...anything I can sing to!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I coordinated, planned, and executed the first Relay For Life of my high school and raised $15,000 for cancer research for the American Cancer Society.

Teach, Learn, Share

Most people think Colombia is super sketchy and dangerous, and they wouldn't be caught dead going there. I went to the country's capital in January 2016, and I've never felt safer in a city.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook like two really good meals. Well, maybe a few more than that. I make some bomb meatloaf, and this chicken and rice dish that my host mom in Argentina taught me while I lived with her. AND I make suuuper good pancakes. And I don't even like pancakes, so that says something.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bahamas, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, England, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Russian Federation, Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
