About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world, meet amazing people and learn more every day

ABOUT ME

I'm curious about the world and I love to ask questions. "Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry" Jack Kerouac

I grew up with a passion for adventure, I was a competitive gymnast till I was 13 and I graduated High School when I was 16. A native of the Chicago area, my family saved money so we could travel together as much as possible. We visited Italy, England, Mexico, Hawaii and Israel together... and I only wanted to see more. I lived and worked for a summer in England and I've also been to South Africa, Liberia, Zambia and a couple times to China. I cannot stop traveling... for me it's not only about seeing new places but meeting new people and hearing their stories.

I just finished my graduate degree in Architecture and my MBA from the University of Illinois. And now I'm in Chicago right downtown,

I also just picked up Penny Boarding... I can teach you.

PHILOSOPHY

If there is an opportunity for adventure I almost never say no... too often I use the phrase "I'll sleep when I'm dead" because life is just too short to miss out on things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Casablanca, Lord of the Rings, Devil in the White City, anything Jack Kerouac, The Beautiful and the Damned, Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley, The Civil Wars, Fleet Foxes, Lissie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in the middle of Datong China building a Solar Powered Home for a summer... while there we set off fire works from the roof of a 20 story building, took a cement truck to the bar and got towed home with a rope when our Taxi ran out of gas.

I also taught at a village in Zambia for a while and one day we took a dug out canoe to the Zambezi and traveled to the village where most the young kids had never seen a white person before.

I've swum in the dead sea, camped along the Golan heights and Climbed Masada. I've seen Victoria Falls and gone into the hills in South Africa to meet the Zulu people. I've been so lucky sometimes I cannot believe this is the life I am living.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning from people who are different than me. I want to know what they think, why they think the way they do...

If you can teach me anything about wine, culture and music we'll have things to talk about!
