About Me

I was supposed to graduate this semester, but when I saw the opportunity to live and study in Sweden for half a year, I took it! I see life as being dynamic, and when it becomes stagnant it is because I am surrounding myself with the wrong people. I change my mind like I change my socks, once a week (just joking, my hygiene is top-notch).

I am really just exploring life, and not necessarily trying to figure it all out - simply enjoying it. I make good music, take good photos, and cook great food. This is not an attempt at self-glory, but simply recognizing that I used to suck at all of this. Progress is the outcome of the committed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I suppose it comes as no surprise that I am here in order meet amazing people and experience their life for a brief moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rap/Hip Hop
( Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, J. Cole, Anderson .Paak, Tupac over Biggie all day, ScHoolboy Q, among others)

Oldies
(Think How Deep is Your Love by the BeeGees, Heat Wave, etc)

Just about any hip hop/r&b from the 90s- early 2000s

Movies: Anything action, comedy, or Pixar.
I tend to be keen on classic American war movies like Saving Private Ryan, We Were Soldiers, but Tropic Thunder fits well into this category for some good laughs.

Books: Always Running, Monster, and anything Junot Diaz

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to make amazing Mexican dishes (it's all in the onion, tomato, and jalapeño ratio, really)

I am essentially an open book. I tend to share a lot about my personal life, the struggles I've been through, and the significance of overcoming this adversity. That being said, I also appreciate people that can do the same, as to not make the conversation one-sided.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I used to make hip hop/ rap songs, and have recently started again. I would love to share some of my music with you.
