To progress as an Occupational Therapist while saving to move to Canada.

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy energetic guy who loves travelling and meeting new people. The best way to travel, I found, was on a skateboard! Not as quick as a train, but definitely cooler. Love reading and cooking. People who eat my food only get food poisoning sometimes. I work as an occupational therapist, and I'm planning on continuing that career in Canada in late 2015. My scene is the outdoors!! I love camping, snorkelling, wakeboarding, mountainbiking and going on adventures. I'll occasionally have a few too many drinks with friends, but have generally put the brakes on older partying habits.

PHILOSOPHY

Still trying to figure out what my personal philosophy is. I guess I'm not a very deep person. I just love my family and friends and having fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently stayed with a really nice Croatian university student in Rijeka. We got along really well and had a lot of fun. This has been my only couchsurfing exp so far.

I've also hosted a lot of legendary Germans.

Interests

My favourite things to do involve getting outdoors to hike or exercising or play sport. Travelling with mates to music festivals, camping and listening to amazing live music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading:
The wheel of time series, shantaram, Dan Browns books, catch 22, the alchemist, zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance, and just adventure fantasy books in general.

Movies:
Pineapple express, dumb and dumber, king pin, pulp fiction, snatch, zoolander, etc the list goes on.

Sport:
Skating, Rugby Union, riding motorbikes, tennis, squash

Bag Raiders, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Justice, TV on the Radio,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sky dived back home in the whitsundays, and the coolest part about it was seeing my mate rocket through a cloud some distance away from me. It was awesome.
Lasted 5mins in a 70 degree celsius steam room in Budapest. I thought it was impressive, ha.
Skated with Romanian border patrol police.
Swam with a whale while fishing in Aus.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hacky Sack! Not only is it a sport but it requires great patience, and can be turned into an awesome drinking game.
