ABOUT ME

I'm Tasmanian born and bred and will always call Tassie home, but I've been living the dream of being a Park Ranger in South Australia for the last couple of years, working from the beach to the bush to the desert.

After a couple of years exploring South Australia I was keen to explore a bit further afield, so I'm currently working, volunteering and travelling around Europe for eight months, checking out some of the amazing diversity of environments on this side of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now I've mostly hosted. We love having surfers stay, especially those who play dress ups (we have a great dress up box), play my guitar much better than I'll ever be able to play it, and go on adventures with us (surfers have been known on multiple occasions to be blindfolded and taken on mystery adventures). But now it's time to do some more surfing...

I love hiking, camping and anything else that gets me exploring outdoors. If it includes or is followed by chocolate or a cup of tea then that's even better.

For me life doesn’t get much better than when it is spent in a beautiful place with good company. Like a recent night I enjoyed on a hiking trip in Northern Norway where I met a fellow hiker and we enjoyed boardgames on the beach, a midnight swim by the light of the setting sun (just before it rose again) and a night in a little hut I came across made entirely of things washed up on the beach.
